Watering: When growing this Aloe, one must be careful not to overwater. Use preferably a cacti and succulents fertilizer with high potassium content including all micro nutrients and trace elements or slow release fertilizer.Įxposure: It can tolerate moderate shade, and a plant that has been growing in shade should be slowly hardened off before placing it in full sun as the plant will be severely scorched if moved too suddenly from shade into sun. Potting: It is best suited to being grown in a pot around here so that it has excellent drainage.įertilization: Need a perfect fertilizer diet in summer. Soil: Always use a good quality, loamy sandy soil with plenty of drainage chips at the bottom of containers. They are long lived plants and once established, they will be content in their position and with their soil for years. Growing rate: They grow slowly, but not agonisingly so – being able to increase their height by 10 - 20 cm per year under favourable conditions. Like its closest relative, Aloe dichotoma, it has a very old and almost stressed appearance making this an excellent and sought-after container plant or wonderful landscape specimens in the garden, although it doesn't make a trunk. 410: AloeĬultivation and Propagation: Winter grower, it is sometimes a tricky grower and prone to rot. The leaf colour is glaucous-green or yellowish green, often with a pinkish tinge. Leaves: The branches end in small rosettes of fleshy, oblong leaves, each up to 200 mm long and 20 mm wide at the base. The plants tends to be longer-stemmed and less branched in more arid areas. The trunk is normally very short smooth and covered with strips of satiny, waxy, powdery silver-pink-brown coloured bark, which acts as a sunscreen in the harsh climate. Branching continues as the plant becomes older, resulting in a dense, almost spherical shrub. This is the only significant difference between A. Stems: As mentioned before, this aloe forms many branches from the ground level. Other than this low branching habit and usually smaller leaf size, it is virtually identical to Aloe dichotoma, and some consider it a subspecies of A. It will form a succulent bush up to 1,2(-1,8) m tall and wide. Description: It is a slow growing tree (shrub) type aloe known for its many branches and smooth, white stems, and without a doubt the most profusely branched of all aloes.

It’s a great option for developers who want to create dynamic animations without spending too much time on coding. The library offers a range of features, including physics-based animations, gesture recognition, and more. With Framer Motion, developers can create animations that move across the screen in response to user interactions, like clicks and swipes, with ease. It’s a popular library that uses simple syntax to create complex animations that are both engaging and fluid. Framer Motionįor a quick introduction, Framer Motion is a package that helps developers add animations and transitions to their web and mobile apps. Which will install Framer Motion and all its dependencies. This can be done with the following command: npm install -save framer-motion Set-Upįirst of all, you’ll need to add Framer Motion to your Next.js project. In this article, we will explore how to use Framer Motion to animate components on scroll in Next.js. It can help you create engaging user experiences that make your application stand out. It can be any number you like depending on the expensiveness of the drag you want to achieve.Animating components on scroll is a great way to add a touch of interactivity to your web application. Through this, we can pass in the latest value of the x axis. Initially, we don't want the drag to enable, hence we pass in 0.Īs for defining the coordinates of how much drag is to be done, the useTransform hook will help us. To achieve the actual value of the x we passed on the drag prop, we'll be using the useMotionValue hook which tracks the state and the velocity of the dragged element. Here, we do it horizontally so it's the x axis. So, on tapping the logo, we first need it to scale a bit, hence we add the scale property to the whileTap prop and for the drag, we need to pass on which axis dragging is to be done. The drag enables the dragging gesture of an element and is set to false by default. The whileTap animates while the element is pressed/clicked. This is achieved by the whileTap and drag helper animation props on the motion component. The tap and drag interaction on React logo: Step 1: Create a React project and add Framer MotionĪfter you're done with creating a React app, simply install the Framer Motion dependency with the following command: Let's dive straight into the development!
8/4/2023 0 Comments Minnesota state white pagesThey used the Grand Portage to access trapping and trading areas further into Minnesota. The first Europeans to enter the region were French voyageurs, fur traders who arrived in the 17th century. When Europeans arrived in North America, the Dakota people lived in what is now Minnesota. Many places in the state have similar Dakota names, such as Minnehaha Falls ("curling water" or waterfall), Minneiska ("white water"), Minneota ("much water"), Minnetonka ("big water"), Minnetrista ("crooked water"), and Minneapolis, a hybrid word combining Dakota mní ("water") and - polis ( Greek for "city"). Dakota people demonstrated the name to early settlers by dropping milk into water and calling it mní sóta. The word Minnesota comes from the Dakota name for the Minnesota River, which got its name from one of two words in Dakota: " mní sóta", which means "clear blue water", or " Mníssota", which means "cloudy water". Minnesota's standard of living and level of education are among the highest in the U.S., and it is ranked among the best states in metrics such as employment, median income, safety, and governance. In more recent decades, Minnesota has become more multicultural, driven by both larger domestic migration and immigration from Latin America, Asia, the Horn of Africa, and the Middle East the state has the nation's largest population of Somali Americans and second largest Hmong population. The state is home to 11 federally recognized Native American reservations (seven Ojibwe, four Dakota), and remains a center of Scandinavian and German cultures with an influence of Lutheranism. Since the late 20th century, the core of Minnesota's economy has diversified, shifting from traditional industries such as agriculture and resource extraction to services, finance, and health care it is consequently one of the richest in terms of GDP and per capita income. Minnesota is considered Democratic-leaning, having voted for every Democratic presidential nominee since 1976, longer than any other U.S. Minnesota's rapid industrialization and urbanization precipitated major social, economic, and political changes in the late 19th and early 20th centuries the state was at the forefront of labor rights, women's suffrage, and political reform. Into the early 20th century, European immigrants arrived in significant numbers, particularly from Scandinavia, Germany, and Central Europe many were linked to the failed revolutions of 1848, which partly influenced the state's development as a center of labor and social activism. Minnesota's official motto, L'Étoile du Nord, is the only state motto in French meaning "The Star of the North", it was adopted shortly after statehood and reflects both the state's early French explorers and its position as the northernmost state in the contiguous U.S.Īs part of the American frontier, Minnesota attracted settlers and homesteaders from across the country, with its growth initially centered on timber, agriculture, and railroad construction. After several territorial reorganizations, the Minnesota Territory was admitted to the Union as the 32nd state in 1858. Much of what is now Minnesota formed part of the vast French holding of Louisiana, which the United States purchased in 1803. French explorers and missionaries were the earliest Europeans to enter the region, encountering the Dakota, Ojibwe, and various Anishinaabe tribes. The Upper Mississippian culture, consisting of the Oneota people and other Siouan speakers, emerged around 1000 CE and lasted through the arrival of Europeans in the 17th century. Between roughly 200 and 500 CE, two areas of the indigenous Hopewell tradition emerged: the Laurel complex in the north, and Trempealeau Hopewell in the Mississippi River Valley in the south. Minnesota, which gets its name from the Dakota language, has been inhabited by various indigenous peoples since the Woodland period of the 11th century BCE. Other minor metropolitan and micropolitan statistical areas in the state include Duluth, Mankato, Moorhead, Rochester, and St. With a population of about 3.7 million, the Twin Cities is the 16th largest metropolitan area in the U.S. More than 60% of Minnesotans live in the Minneapolis–Saint Paul metropolitan area, known as the "Twin Cities", the state's main political, economic, and cultural hub. Roughly a third of the state is covered in forests, and it is known as the "Land of 10,000 Lakes" for having over 14,000 bodies of fresh water covering at least ten acres. Minnesota is home to western prairies, now given over to intensive agriculture deciduous forests in the southeast, now partially cleared, farmed, and settled and the less populated North Woods, used for mining, forestry, and recreation. state in area and the 22nd most populous, with over 5.75 million residents.
